When
I met Christopher my health was out of control – I’d left myself
go. I was 143 lbs at 5’2”. I looked like
a woman in
her 50's and, to put it mildly, I was burnt out!
After
meeting
with Christopher for the first time, I knew I was on my way to being
healthier and looking and feeling better. He wasn't just a
life
coach, he was a friend. He was someone who wanted to make a difference
in my life and the lives of the people in his lifetime.
As
a
result of my training, I have lost 15-18lbs, going from a Size 12 back
to my normal 8! I even feel taller than
ever! I feel
like wonder woman! Walking with my head up high and feeling
great! I am not afraid to lift something that may weigh
50Lbs! My
family and friends have noticed the change. My sister in-law (God bless
her) says I look like I took 15 years off my life!
The
toughest
part of my training is eating healthy. However, as I practice it more
it is becoming second nature. I look in the mirror now and think," YOU
GO WOMAN!"
I
admire, respect and truly feel a life long bond with this coach. My
hat's off to you Christopher. Keep up the GREAT work!
With Sincerest
Blessings,

I’ve
been working with Christopher for about 4 years now and I’ve truly
loved every minute of it -- something that I didn’t think was possible
because I’ve never been a ‘gym rat’ type.
I
guess you can say that I was a late bloomer to exercise on a regular
basis. It wasn’t til after college that I decided to be more
physically active and I chose running. I figured it is a way
to
lose that college weight and do something outdoors on my own.
So
I became a ‘runner’ and I use that term loosely. I’d say for
the
past 10 years now my life revolved around how many miles can I get in
before work. I worked hard at learning how to build my
stamina
and leg muscles so I could eventually run races -- starting with 5K’s
and eventually completing my first NYC Marathon in 2001.
Along
with my new running routine, I experimented for years with ‘magical
ways’ to lose weight. I tried eating less: carrots,
mushrooms,
spinach and turkey sandwiches or big salads with lots of turkey or
chicken on it, or skipping dinners altogether. None of my
experiments worked very well, to say the least.
I
found my way to Christopher by a referral from another one of his
clients, and the first time we met, I knew I wasn’t with ‘just any
other trainer’. This guy had questions and seemed to really
care
about me, my body, my mind. He taught me the importance of
nutrition and a healthy lifestyle as the foundation for great results .
. . and once I got a handle on my eating, I REALLY saw the results I
wanted from training. I looked defined and strong and my body
and
mind worked in unison, they way they’re meant to!
I
owe a lot to Christopher for his continuous teaching that never feels
like a lecture. He makes me curious to learn more and see how
all
the components meld together. It’s a constant reminder for me
and
when I slip off the ledge, he knows how to speak to me and not at
me.
As
I get into this next decade of life I only hope I continue to absorb
and incorporate what Christopher teaches me whether it’s about
exercise, nutrition or just about living.

Christopher
Warden has been my personal trainer for over two years. As a lifelong
exercise enthusiast, I chose Christopher to be my trainer because I
needed someone who would be able to take my relatively fit body to an
elite level of ability. With Christopher’s unusually high level of
intelligence and both physical and nutritional knowledge, I quickly
began to reach my goals.
However,
Christopher’s true value became apparent to me over the ensuing 2
years. I suffered several injuries (the downside of being a
lifelong exercise enthusiast!) that would have sidelined anyone who was
not training with someone as qualified as Christopher. Through his
intuitive knowledge of my body, and his endless quest for knowledge and
ability to accurately research, I was able to train throughout my
recovery periods. He has even devised a program for me that
incorporates some of the physical therapy that was vital to my recent
healing, in the hopes of preventing further injury by keeping my neck
and shoulder strong.

After
trying to stop smoking for years and failing, I woke one day and
‘found’ the missing element to successfully stop. I wanted to
succeed for the simple reason that I wanted to live to enjoy the life I
was working so hard for. I didn't want to be limited by not
being
able to breathe. I felt happy and empowered by my decision
and it
made quitting that much more of a milestone in my life and that is one
of my personal triumphs.
About
5 years later the same epiphany happened about my health . . .
specifically my weight. The reality is that if you are overweight and
you haven't hit the gym in years taking that first step can be the
scariest thing you have ever had to do.
For
me finding that yellow brick road that led to a gym and some sort of
work out plan was blocked by the ‘wicked witch’ that was my fear and
insecurity of how I looked. Compounding the fear was the panic that hit
when I tried to visualize walking into that gym. Good
God!
Where do I begin? What do I do? How do I do
it? Can I
do any of it?
That’s
where fate intervened when a friend got put me on the path to Oz by
referring me to Christopher Warden. While I was afraid about
what
he, the Wizard would say and think about my lack of courage, my broken
heart and the fact that I had not used my brain in taking care of my
body, what I found was that the man behind the curtain understood my
fear, my loss of self and reassured me that I did have a brain because
I had taken the first step toward changing my life around.
Christopher
has been an extraordinary addition to my life. I look forward to my
workouts with him and actually laugh and have fun while he makes me
workout. Don't misunderstand me . . .he works my ass off. He demands
and challenges me to re-learn how to use my body to move and function
as it was meant to do before the weight gain and the loss of
flexibility. His philosophy and his vision of what a healthy body
should be is fed by his passion for his professionalism and his
sensitivity that stress and a persons emotional state contributes to
the ongoing success of turning your health around. He doesn't talk
about weight. He talks about core...strengthening the core from the
inside out. Every session he looks me straight in the eye and
asks, "How are you today?" If you lie or you try to mask your true
feelings he somehow knows your not revealing your emotional state and
all of a sudden he has you verbalizing what is bothering you and before
you know it you are feeling better that you shared it. Honestly I don't
know how he does it but on those tough days that's when he get the best
work out of me.
I
could continue to sing his praises but my fingers would fall
off.
The bottom line he is more than a fitness coach. He puts himself out
there. He listens. He watches. He advises. He
investigates
any problems that arise and works on a solution for every client. Every
once in a while I break focus on what I'm doing and watch what he is
doing while I'm moving. He is like an artist working on a
sculpture. He circles...he looks at what I’m are doing from
every
angle . . . coaches me . . . spots me . . . makes adjustments . . .
continues to analyze and then encourages me to realize that my work is
paying off. And, yes, he even makes me laugh.
I
know that with Christopher by my side, my success will not only be
about fat loss. It will be about regaining my self-esteem and regaining
the use of my body to live life to the fullest. Since I believe that
the life essence and spirit is forever, and that during our life time
it is housed and carried in our human bodies, then the lesson I'm
learning from walking down that yellow brick road is, in fact, "There's
no place like home...there's no place like home...there's no place like
home."
Thank
you to my Wizard...if ever a Wiz there was. The man behind that gym
door.
